The Kansas City make the most of 6 hits in 4-3 victory over the Fargo-Moorhead

Story by Narrative Science.

The Kansas City (9-8) and the Fargo-Moorhead (7-10) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Kansas City that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Newman Outdoor Field.

The Kansas City held off the Fargo-Moorhead, as the Fargo-Moorhead were unable to overcome a three-run ninth inning deficit.

The Fargo-Moorhead scored two runs in the ninth on a fielder's choice and a two-run single by Ryan Stovall. Despite their efforts, the Fargo-Moorhead couldn't finish the comeback.

The Kansas City relied on Nick Singleton to eat up innings en route to the win. Singleton pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out five.

Jake Laber was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
