The Fresno Cardinals (19-5) outlasted the Atwater Aviators (16-11) on Thursday after six lead changes, squeaking out a 9-7 win at John Euless Ballpark.

Greg Harisis did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Fresno Cardinals, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Rick Brebner led the Atwater Aviators' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Even though Ryan Ahrens allowed six runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

Spencer Koopmans was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked five and struck out three.
