The Nevada Big Horns (3-15) and the San Francisco Seagulls (12-9) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Nevada Big Horns that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-4 win at Western Nevada College.

Kyle Dodge racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Nevada Big Horns. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Eren Miravalles had a hot bat for the San Francisco Seagulls. Miravalles went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Eric Maupin got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed four runs over eight innings. He struck out eight, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.

Jake Paolinetti (0-2) took the loss for the San Francisco Seagulls. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
