An ace performance by Monica Abbott carried the Chicago Bandits (16-9) to a 4-0 win over the Carolina Diamonds (9-15) on Thursday at Rosemont Stadium.

Evangelina Galindo delivered a big hit off the bench in the five.. Her pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Chicago Bandits' four-run win.

Angel Bunner couldn't get it done in the circle for the Carolina Diamonds, taking a loss. She lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
