Lisa Modglin went 2-4, sparking the Akron Racers (7-12) to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Bandits (14-5) on Saturday at Rosemont Stadium.

Hillary Bach picked up the win for the Akron Racers. Bach pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out five.

Alisa Goler was hot from the plate for the Chicago Bandits. Goler went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. She doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Michelle Moses (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. She lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
