The London Rippers (25-35) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Windy City ThunderBolts (42-30) on Sunday, as the London Rippers fell 5-4 at Standard Bank Stadium after falling behind by five runs in the sixth inning.

The London Rippers scored on a fielder's choice, a fielder's choice, and a wild pitch in the eighth inning and a two-run single by Jim Vahalik and a single by Brad Agustin in the ninth inning. Still, the London Rippers couldn't catch the Windy City ThunderBolts.

Chad Cregar racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He homered in the first inning.

Dustin Williams racked up seven strikeouts in the the Windy City ThunderBolts win. Williams allowed two earned runs, four hits and four walks over eight innings.

Agustin was solid at the plate for the London Rippers. Agustin went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run.

Yohan Gonzalez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
