A walk-off single from Stephen Cardullo brought home the winning run for the Florence Freedom (47-38) in a 4-3 victory over the Joliet Slammers at Home of the Florence Freedom on Tuesday.

Cardullo was hot from the plate for the Florence Freedom. Cardullo went 2-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Eddie Rodriguez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth innings.

Matt Kline improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Florence Freedom. Kline struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Geoff Brown was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
