William Salas went 2-4 as the Medicine Hat Mavericks (28-13) took home an 8-7 victory over the Melville Millionaires (8-33) at Athletic Park on Saturday.

Mark Gottsacker racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires. He homered in the third inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

Evan Regez recorded his first win of the year for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Austin Ell (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
