The Albany Dutchmen (28-20) beat the Saugerties Stallions (14-34) 8-7 on Saturday at CPSC-Bob Bellizzi Field behind JJ Shimko, who collected four hits.

Kale Morton pitched lights out for the Albany Dutchmen. The Saugerties Stallions managed just two hits off of Morton, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Tyler Noe reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Vinny Valentino had an impressive outing against the Albany Dutchmen's lineup. The Albany Dutchmen managed just one hit off of Valentino, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Jack Grabek got the win, running his season record to 4-2. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Mike Davis was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
