It was a good day at the plate for the Newark Pilots' Luke Reynolds. Reynolds went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Taylor Ahearn improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Elmira Pioneers. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out seven, walked one and surrendered nine hits.
Xan Reese (2-1) took the loss for the Newark Pilots. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
