Cory Meyer went 2-4 as the Spokane (24-16) took home a 2-0 victory over the Wenatchee Valley (5-33) at Spokane Falls Community College on Wednesday.

Brandon Desjardins's seven strikeouts helped the Spokane to the victory. The Spokane's pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Parker Rasmussen pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out one.

Rasmussen (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher.
