Mt. Hood vs Clark: 10-11

The Clark need walk-off single to beat the Mt. Hood, 11-10

A walk-off single from Jesse Bollen brought home the winning run for the Clark (14-20) in an 11-10 victory over the Mt. Hood (19-15) at Kindsfather Field on Sunday.

Bollen paced the Clark at the plate. Bollen went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and ninth innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 21 total runs and 29 hits during the game. Both bullpens were busy with nine pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

Ian Humphrey had three extra-base hits for the Clark. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the seventh inning, and homered in the eighth inning.

Grant Fisher got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. Fisher struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Camden Muller couldn't get it done on the mound for the Mt. Hood, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Clark's Parker Woodley, Brandon Zimmerman, Humphrey and Marco Murillo combined for 13 hits and nine RBIs.
