Johnathon Valenzuela-Reece went 2-3, helping the Topeka Train Robbers (24-30) to a 4-3 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (30-27) on Monday at Central Park.

The Trinidad Triggers were led by a flawless day at the dish by Brian Frazier, who went 2-2 against the Topeka Train Robbers' pitching. He homered in the third inning.

Tim Vranau improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Topeka Train Robbers. He allowed two runs over three innings. Vranau struck out six, walked one and gave up five hits.

Karl Brice ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
