The Santa Fe Fuego (16-44) failed to take advantage of Omar Artsen's effort at the plate on Wednesday, losing 15-7 to the Tucson Saguaros (46-13) at Fort Marcy Park.

Artsen hit two home runs for the Santa Fe Fuego. Artsen went 4-5 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Artsen homered in the first and fourth innings.

The Tucson Saguaros blew out the Santa Fe Fuego thanks to 21 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Tucson Saguaros scored five runs in the fourth on the Tucson Saguaros scored in the fourth on a single by Ryan Retz, a solo home run by Jimmy Heck, a three-run single by Tanner Giesel, and an RBI single by Burnell Dailey.

Retz racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Tucson Saguaros.

Wesley Parrish brought the heat against the Santa Fe Fuego during his outing. The Santa Fe Fuego managed just two hits off of Parrish, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Brandon Cook recorded his third win for the Tucson Saguaros even though he allowed seven runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Ryo Ose was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 12 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
