Joey Miller collected three hits as the Roswell Invaders (28-10) took home a 3-2 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (20-18) at Joe Bauman Park on Sunday.
He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.Ethan Rosebeck racked up six strikeouts in the the Roswell Invaders win. Rosebeck allowed two earned runs, seven hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings.
Nate Ferrell did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Alpine Cowboys, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the seventh inning.
Pat Lemmo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed three runs.
