Steven Taft clubbed two home runs, sparking the Santa Fe Fuego (4-14) to a 5-2 victory in six innings over the Salina Stockade (6-9) on Saturday at Fort Marcy Park.

The Santa Fe Fuego got the win thanks in large part to Ryan Harper's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. Harper allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks over six innings.

Ray Hernandez racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Salina Stockade. He homered in the fifth inning.

Gilbert Barrera ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
