A walk-off single from Sam Pack brought home the winning run for the Topeka Train Robbers (5-9) in a 7-6 victory over the Great Bend Boom (8-6) in 11 innings at Jerry Robertson Field on Saturday.
Pack did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Topeka Train Robbers, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the eighth and eleventh innings.
Chris Scura racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Topeka Train Robbers. He doubled in the eighth innings.
Ty Geary pitched lights out for the Topeka Train Robbers. Geary held the Great Bend Boom hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
