The Topeka Train Robbers (20-24) beat the Great Bend Boom (16-26) 6-1 on Friday at Al Burns Field behind Ian Home, who went 1-4.

The Great Bend Boom couldn't get anything going so long as John De Leon was on the hill. The Great Bend Boom managed just two hits off of the the Topeka Train Robbers' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked 10 and struck out five during his 6 2/3 innings of work.

Ian Miller couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Great Bend Boom, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
