The Alpine Cowboys (4-4) didn't stand a chance on Thursday, as the Tucson Saguaros (8-1) captured a blowout 11-5 win at Kino Veterans.

The Tucson Saguaros scored three runs in the fourth on the Tucson Saguaros scored in the fourth on an RBI triple by Jesse Baker, an RBI triple by Baker, and a groundout by Cameron Cox.

Adam Urbania was solid at the plate for the Tucson Saguaros. Urbania went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Cox improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Tucson Saguaros. He allowed four runs over six innings. Cox struck out six, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Jake Heissler couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Alpine Cowboys, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out four.
