AJ McElderry kept the White Sands Pupfish (2-2) off the board during his six innings of work and the Alpine Cowboys (2-2) beat the White Sands Pupfish, 14-4.
McElderry allowed five hits, three walks and struck out seven.
The Alpine Cowboys didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Alpine Cowboys scored three runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. A two-run double by Tim Henry and a two-run single by Tevin Padgett helped the Alpine Cowboys score four runs in the first. The Alpine Cowboys had four hits in the inning.
Reagan Rutledge had a hot bat for the Alpine Cowboys. Rutledge went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first innings and tripled in the fourth inning.
