The Alpine Cowboys (1-1) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring 10 runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 23-4 landslide win over the White Sands Pupfish (1-1) at Kokernot Field.

The Alpine Cowboys scored 10 runs in the seventh on the Alpine Cowboys scored in the seventh on , a fielder's choice, an RBI double by Eric Ferguson, an RBI single by JJ Graham, a two-run double by Tevin Padgett, a groundout by Ariel Adut, a two-run single by Clayton Truex, and an RBI single by Reagan Rutledge.

The White Sands Pupfish couldn't slow down Ferguson, who paced the Alpine Cowboys with five hits.

The White Sands Pupfish were led by Aaron Olivas's hitting. Olivas went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.

Joey Webb recorded his first win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Webb struck out three, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Dametrus Ingram (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.

The Alpine Cowboys hammered the White Sands Pupfish pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
