The Tucson Saguaros (9-2) shut the door early on the Santa Fe Fuego (2-9), capturing an 11-4 victory on Thursday at Kino Veterans.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Tucson Saguaros left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A groundout by Adam Urbania, an RBI single by Ruben Rivera, an RBI single by Thomas McKenna, an RBI single by McKenna, and a two-run single by Michael Rampone during the first inning fueled the Tucson Saguaros' offense early.

Urbania racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Tucson Saguaros.

David Contreras got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Thomas Zarawicz was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
