Extra-inning thriller favors the Pierce, 7-5 winners over the Edmonds

The Pierce (5-5) outlasted the Edmonds (8-3) at Triton Field 7-5 on Saturday after 12 innings.

With the score tied at five in the twelfth inning, Andrew Barrera came to the plate and singled, bringing home Rayven Kahana and Josh Palmquist.

Barrera racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Pierce. He tripled in the eighth inning and singled in the twelfth inning.

Tyson Cronin pitched lights out for the Pierce. The Edmonds managed just one hit off of the the Pierce's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Jesse Moore racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Edmonds. He homered in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Robbie Watson (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked four, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
