The Alexandria Aces (13-9) beat the Herndon Braves (11-10) 10-5 on Thursday at Frank Mann Field behind Liam McArthur, who collected three hits.
He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.The Herndon Braves' lineup had no answer for Nick Pedalino. Pedalino gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.
