Jordan Dean went 2-4, helping the Schaumburg Boomers (19-17) to a 3-2 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (16-18) on Thursday at Schaumburg Boomers Stadium.
He singled in the first inning and tripled in the second inning.Seth Webster's eight strikeouts were enough to push the Schaumburg Boomers past the Lake Erie Crushers. Webster allowed two earned runs on four hits and one walk over seven innings.
Despite the loss, the Lake Erie Crushers' Todd Kibby dominated the Schaumburg Boomers' batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.
Kibby (2-4) took the loss for the Lake Erie Crushers.
