Andrew Curran collected three hits, helping the Danville Dans (30-21) to an 11-6 victory over the Springfield Sliders (32-19) on Saturday at Robin Roberts Field.

Caleb Hanks brought the heat against the Springfield Sliders during his outing. Hanks held the Springfield Sliders hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Cale Hennemann reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Bryan Ayers recorded his fourth win for the Danville Dans even though he allowed six runs over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Brad Dubow couldn't get it done on the hill for the Springfield Sliders, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
