A walk-off from James Hill III brought home the winning run for the Terre Haute Rex (24-16) in a 4-3 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen in 12 innings at Bob Warn Field on Sunday.

Hill III reached base two times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the fourth inning.

Jeffrey Barton allowed two earned runs, three hits and four walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Thomas Waning got the win, running his season record to 6-3. He allowed one run over three innings. Waning struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.

Kent Corso (0-1) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen (9-28). He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
