A walk-off from David Martinez brought home the winning run for the Terre Haute Rex (22-16) in an 8-7 victory over the Butler BlueSox at Bob Warn Field on Friday.

Martinez reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

James Hill III led the Terre Haute Rex's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He doubled in the third inning.

Adam Polansky had an impressive outing against the Butler BlueSox (17-21)'s lineup. Polansky gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out one during his six innings of work.

Thomas Waning improved to 5-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jack Herzing was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
