Brendan Burns got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed two runs over five innings. Burns struck out eight, walked one and gave up five hits.

David Calderon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
