Evan Kennedy went 1-3 and hit a home run as the Lafayette Aviators (17-13) took home a 5-3 victory over the Kokomo Jackrabbits (15-15) at Kokomo Municipal Stadium on Wednesday.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits were led by Logan Barnes's hitting. Barnes went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Jason Sterrett got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Parker Sanburn (1-2) took the loss for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
