The DuPage Drones (20-16) beat the Hannibal Cavemen (9-25) 6-4 on Thursday at Benedictine Sports Complex behind Brad Hartman, who went 3-3 at the plate.

Zak Devermann brought the heat against the Hannibal Cavemen during his outing. Devermann held the Hannibal Cavemen hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Austin Siener had two extra-base hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Brent Mattson improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the DuPage Drones. He allowed four runs over five innings. Mattson struck out five, walked seven and gave up four hits.

Derek Jones (1-3) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked five and struck out one.
