Matthew Richey kept the Quincy Gems (12-10) off the board during his six innings of work and the Springfield Sliders (12-8) beat the Quincy Gems, 13-1.

Richey allowed three hits, no walks and struck out six.

The Springfield Sliders ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The Springfield Sliders scored four runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win.
