The Washington Wild Things (11-11) built an early edge on Wednesday, but the Windy City ThunderBolts (16-7) roared back to steal a 3-1 victory at CONSOL Energy Park.

The Windy City ThunderBolts took the lead in the fourth inning on a two-run home run by Blair Beck.

The Windy City ThunderBolts' Coco Johnson was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Tyler Murphy handled the Washington Wild Things' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Murphy allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk over four innings.

Grant Fink was hot from the plate for the Washington Wild Things. Fink went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Brian Loconsole got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Chase Cunningham (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
