Fournier helps the Lake Erie Monarchs down the Lima Locos 6-3

Ryan Fournier drove in three runs as the Lake Erie Monarchs (17-25) took home a 6-3 victory over the Lima Locos (28-13) at Flat Rock Field on Sunday.

He homered in the second inning.

Jason Sullivan reached base three times. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

The Lake Erie Monarchs had no answer for Nathan Dupree, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Dupree gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Greg Loukinen improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Monarchs. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Brad Croy (5-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
