The Seacoast Mavericks (28-13) and the Nashua Silver Knights (27-15) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Seacoast Mavericks that eventually took advantage of them in a 4-1 win at Leary Field.

Steven Octave was solid at the plate for the Seacoast Mavericks. Octave went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Ryan Guerra racked up six strikeouts in the the Seacoast Mavericks win. Guerra allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over six innings.

A bright spot for the Nashua Silver Knights in the defeat was Drew Fischer, who allowed only three runs while striking out nine.
