Seventh-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Walla Walla, 15-7

A nine-run explosion in the seventh inning lifted the Walla Walla (15-16) to a 15-7 win in seven innings over the Blue Mountain at BMCC Softball Field on Tuesday.

The Walla Walla scored in the seventh on a two-run single by Mikayla Faulkner, a two-run double by Jacie McDaniels, an RBI single by Lyndzie Parker, an error, a two-run double by Anna Williams, and an RBI single by Mackenzie Watts.

Parker racked up four RBIs on five hits for the Walla Walla.

Sarah Bonner led the Blue Mountain (5-28)'s offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the first, sixth, and seventh innings.

Even though Brittney Bradley allowed seven runs over 5 2/3 innings he still recorded the victory, his fifth of the season. Bradley struck out two, walked seven and gave up seven hits.

Megan Ulrey couldn't get it done on the hill for the Blue Mountain, taking a loss. He allowed 13 runs in six innings, walked four and struck out two.
