The Walla Walla drub the Wenatchee Valley, 9-3

The Wenatchee Valley (4-29) didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday, as the Walla Walla (21-13) cruised to a blowout 9-3 win at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.

The Walla Walla scored three runs in the fourth on the Walla Walla scored in the fourth on a two-run double by Blake Macdonald and an RBI single by Cameron Walker.

Macdonald reached base five times in the game for the Walla Walla. He scored four runs and had two RBIs.

Jake Simmons picked up the win for the Walla Walla. Simmons pitched nine innings and allowed three earned runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out three.

Nolan Wirth was hot from the plate for the Wenatchee Valley. Wirth went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Zace Lewis was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out one.
