Daniel Munoz went 1-2, sparking the Shoreline (7-18) to an 8-4 victory over the Everett (19-4) on Sunday at Meridian.
He singled in the second inning.Myles Gouveia struck out six hitters en route to the the Shoreline win. Gouveia allowed one earned run, eight hits and two walks over seven innings.
Jacob Prater boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Everett. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.
Ryan Monson (1-1) took the loss for the Everett. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed no runs.
