The Tacoma (3-0) rolled over the Shoreline (0-5) 13-1 on Sunday at Meridian after an eight-run rally in the sixth inning.
The Tacoma scored in the sixth on a two-run double by Jake Vieth, an error, an error, a two-run single by Lucas Eliason, an RBI single by Clay Reece, and an RBI single by Reece.
Eliason racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Tacoma.
Mathew Henckel struck out seven hitters en route to the the Tacoma win. Henckel allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over five innings.
TJ McCullough was solid at the plate for the Shoreline. McCullough went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.
Payton Mackin was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
