A walk-off double from Andrew Ivelia brought home the winning run for the Everett (25-8) in a 5-4 victory over the Skagit Valley (19-14) at Everett Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
Ivelia had two extra-base hits for the Everett. He doubled in the first and ninth innings.
Peyton Cordova-Smith was hot from the plate for the Everett. Cordova-Smith went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.
Alex Gray struck out nine hitters en route to the the Everett win. Gray allowed four earned runs, five hits and one walk over nine innings.
Wyatt Segel racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Skagit Valley. He homered in the ninth inning.
Charlie Carmichael (0-2) took the loss for the Skagit Valley. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
