The Mt. Hood take out the Walla Walla with help from Ogata, 6-3

Bowen Ogata had three RBIs as the Mt. Hood (3-5) took home a 6-3 victory over the Walla Walla (3-1) at Warrior Field on Sunday.

He singled in the fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

The Walla Walla had no answer for Andrew Thorud, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Walla Walla managed just one hit off of Thorud, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Riley Moore improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Mt. Hood. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Cameron Walker ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
