Bellevue vs Everett: 5-6

The Everett take out the Bellevue with help from Ivelia, 6-5

The Everett (24-7) beat the Bellevue (26-9) 6-5 on Saturday at Everett Memorial Stadium behind Andrew Ivelia, who went 2-4.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Joe Wainhouse racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bellevue. He singled in the eighth inning.

Travis Ulvestad brought the heat against the Everett during his outing. The Everett managed just one hit off of Ulvestad, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Taylor Shea improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Everett. He allowed three runs over five innings. Shea struck out two, walked none and gave up five hits.

Danny Torlai was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
