Danny Torlai clubbed two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Bellevue (13-5) to a win on Saturday, as the Bellevue fell to the Pierce (10-7) 8-7 at Mt Tahoma High School in 10 innings.
Gunnar Schubert reached base five times in the game for the Pierce. He singled in the first, fifth, and eighth innings.
Conner Sharp recorded his second win of the year for the Pierce. Sharp struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.
Joe Wainhouse couldn't get it done on the mound for the Bellevue, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
