Tyler Parsons hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Parsons tossed a shutout to carry the Lower Columbia (31-12) to a 1-0 victory over the Grays Harbor at David Story Field in seven innings.

Parsons held the Grays Harbor (3-30) scoreless during his seven innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up eight.

Daniel Peugh couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Grays Harbor, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed one run.
