The Tacoma make the most of 7 hits in 3-2 victory over the Lower Columbia

The Tacoma (27-9) and the Lower Columbia (27-9) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Tacoma that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at David Story Field.

Keylen Steen paced the Tacoma at the plate. Steen went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the seventh inning.

Jeffery Lusink had an impressive outing against the Lower Columbia's lineup. The Lower Columbia managed just one hit off of the the Tacoma's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his four innings of work.

A bright spot for the Lower Columbia in the defeat was Kade Kryzsko, who allowed only three runs while striking out five.

Kryzsko was charged with his first loss of the year.
