The Yakima Valley make the most of 12 hits in 5-1 victory over the Wenatchee Valley

The Yakima Valley (18-8) and the Wenatchee Valley (3-17) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Yakima Valley that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-1 win at Parker Field .

Tanner Parker had two extra-base hits for the Yakima Valley. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the third and seventh innings.

Dehaas did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Wenatchee Valley, reaching base four times. He singled in the second, seventh, and ninth innings.

Hunter Boyd improved to 2-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Yakima Valley. He allowed one run over six innings. Boyd struck out six, walked one and gave up nine hits.

Gerardo Reyes couldn't get it done on the hill for the Wenatchee Valley, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

Alec Chaney, Parker and Karsten Sherman helped lead the Yakima Valley. They combined for eight hits and four RBIs.
