An ace performance by Chris Petrosie lifted the Yakima Valley (11-8) to a 6-1 win over the Spokane on Wednesday at Spokane Falls Community College.
Petrosie kept the Spokane (11-4) off the board during his eight innings of work. Petrosie struck out two and allowed no walks and four hits.
Kasey Bailey racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Yakima Valley. He homered in the sixth inning.
Ryan Murkle was solid at the plate for the Spokane. Murkle went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.
Austin Lee (1-3) took the loss for the Spokane. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
