Sean Sonognini went 2-4 as the Skagit Valley (1-7) took home a 3-2 victory over the Yakima Valley (6-3) at Parker Field on Saturday.

Tyrel Panter had an impressive outing against the Yakima Valley's lineup. The Yakima Valley managed just two hits off of Panter, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out none during his five innings of work.

Hunter Boyd ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
