An ace performance by Taylor Gulick hoisted the Blue Mountain (2-7) to an 8-0 win over the Olympic (5-4) on Sunday at Blue Mountain .

Gulick held the Olympic scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on five hits while striking out six.

The Blue Mountain blew out the Olympic thanks to nine hits, including zero extra base hits. The Blue Mountain scored four runs in the fifth on the Blue Mountain scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Ben Ross, an error, and a two-run double by Nolan Weber.

Ross had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

Trey Dennis (1-1) took the loss for the Olympic. He lasted just four innings, walked six, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
