A walk-off error from Ryan Cox brought home the winning run for the Utica Brewers (21-29) in a 5-4 victory over the Newark Pilots (20-30) at Murnane Field on Wednesday.

Cox racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Utica Brewers. He singled in the first inning.

Jake Amoroso had an impressive outing against the Newark Pilots' lineup. The Newark Pilots managed just two hits off of Amoroso, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Kent Axcell recorded his first win of the year for the Utica Brewers. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Bret Viola was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
